If you want to celebrate your wedding only with your close family or friends, we suggest booking one of our recommended beach villas. We have selected all the villas carefully ourselves to ensure they are perfectly suited for a tranquil dream wedding on the beach right in front of your doorstep.
A ceremony at your private beach villa can only host a maximum of 12 people. House owners permitting a ceremony with more guests than they offer beds is very rare.

Public Beach - A Romantic Setting by the Sea
For a romantic beach wedding, our public beach location near Grand Bay offers a perfect backdrop. This stunning sandy beach is ideal for couples seeking a simple ceremony with up to 12 guests. While the ceremony takes place on the open beach, you’ll enjoy a private and intimate candlelight dinner by the sea, creating an unforgettable moment just for you. The nearby tropical garden adds a beautiful touch, providing a peaceful spot for the photo shoot after your wedding.
Your Hotel's Beach
It is also possible to get married on the beach of your own hotel with our help. We have already organized weddings at the beach of countless hotels. Most hotels require a minimum stay of 2 or 3 nights to get married at their premises.
Upon presentation of the marriage certificate, many hotels also offer a honeymoon package which must be booked before departure – the marriage certificate can then be presented at the reception on the day of the wedding.
Our ready-made packages include all the essentials—venue, wedding planner, photographer, flowers, and basic decor—everything you need for a beautiful, stress-free celebration.
To make it even more special, we offer a wide range of add-ons that can be easily added to your package. Whether you’re looking for a videographer, a beautiful wedding cake, or romantic singers, all add-ons and associated prices are provided upfront, allowing you to customize your wedding day with ease, while keeping your financial considerations in mind.
Now that your venue, date, guest count, and customizations are in place, step three is where we make it all happen. Your wedding planner will create a detailed schedule that reflects your vision. Once you approve, we take care of all the logistics. We’ll confirm all the details with the vendors, finalize the schedule, and ensure everything is perfectly arranged.

Best Time to Visit Mauritius for a Wedding
Mauritius has opposite seasons to Europe, but it doesn’t have four distinct seasons. Instead, the year is divided into three main periods:
- Hot (October–December)
- Hot and Humid (January–April)
- Warm and Dry (May–September)
How to choose the best time for your wedding
- November to April: Perfect if you love warmth and want to escape European winter. Daytime temperatures reach up to 33°C, and the sea is around 29°C. It’s also the season for tropical fruits like mangoes and lychees. However, cyclones can occasionally occur between January and March, though they’re rare and usually harmless if you stay indoors.
- May to October: Ideal for cooler weather, hiking, and outdoor activities. Temperatures range from 24°C to 30°C, and the sea stays between 23°C and 27°C. Rain is also less frequent, especially in the north.
Extra Tips
- Daylight Hours: The longest days are in December and the shortest are in June.
- Microclimate: The weather can vary a lot within short distances. It might rain in one area while it’s sunny just 15 minutes away by car. So don’t be too quick to trust the weather forecast-due to the microclimate, rain in one area often means sunshine just around the corner.
Regional Differences
- North: Warm, flat, and has the least rain.
- East: Warm like the north but windy from June to August
- South: Rainiest part of the island; can be windy in specific areas.
- West: Similar to the North
Mauritius offers great weather for weddings all year round—it just depends on your preferences!
What happens if the weather is bad on our wedding day?
We offer flexible scheduling, allowing us to reschedule your wedding in case of rain. In Mauritius, the weather can change quickly, so we typically wait until 1pm to give our recommendation on whether to proceed or postpone to the next day, so you have the best possible experience.
Are there any costs not covered by the wedding packages?
Transparency is key in our pricing. All our wedding packages clearly detail what is included, and any optional extras are outlined upfront. There are no hidden costs; everything is discussed and approved by you during the planning stages.
How and when do we have to pay?
After having agreed on the venue and the various vendors, we will send you the schedule of the day (for you to approve) and after that the invoice. 30% of the total amount will have to be paid to our Mauritian bank account (we kindly ask you to tick the option “transaction fees to be charged to the sender”) for securing the date, the venue and the vendors. The remaining 70% will have to be wired to us by latest 1 month prior to the wedding.
How far in advance do we need to book our wedding?
For couples with none or only a few guests: We recommend booking your beach wedding three to four months before your desired wedding date.
For Larger Groups (15+ Guests): We recommend booking your beach wedding six to twelve months in advance to give guests time to arrange travel and accommodations.
What legal documentation is required for getting married in Mauritius?
For a wedding to be legally recognized, couples must provide certain documents, such as passports, birth certificates, and if applicable, divorce decrees. Our team will guide you through the required paperwork to ensure all legal requirements are met for your wedding day.

Whilst we are wedding planners and we do work with clients all over the world, VISA details and entry requirements to Mauritius are not our expertise.

Is it possible to have a religious ceremony as part of our beach wedding in Mauritius?
How do we plan our wedding from abroad?
Our experienced wedding planners are equipped to handle overseas clients. We use email and video calls to discuss to discuss and finalise all details. We ensure that planning your wedding from abroad is as stress-free and seamless as possible.
What is the cancellation policy for a beach wedding in Mauritius?
Our cancellation policy is designed to be as accommodating as possible. You can cancel up to six months before your wedding date with a minimal cancellation fee. For cancellations closer to the date, the fee will vary depending on the services already arranged.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions for the wedding banquet?
Yes, we take all dietary needs seriously and can accommodate most dietary restrictions. Please inform us in advance so our team can prepare suitable menu options.
