- Shared Air Supply: The bride and groom share one diving tank, each using their own regulator.
- Weighted Wedding Dress: The bride can bring a dress of her choice, and we will sew weights into the hem to prevent it from floating up underwater.

Do I need scuba diving experience for an underwater wedding?
No, diving lessons are provided for beginners before the ceremony.
Can guests attend the underwater wedding?
Yes, guests can join the ceremony underwater as divers just like you or while snorkelling at the surface watching the ceremony unfold.
How and when do we have to pay?
After having agreed on the venue and the various vendors, we will send you the schedule of the day (for you to approve) and after that the invoice. 30% of the total amount will have to be paid to our Mauritian bank account (we kindly ask you to tick the option “transaction fees to be charged to the sender”) for securing the date, the venue and the vendors. The remaining 70% will have to be wired to us by latest 1 month prior to the wedding.
How far in advance do we need to book our wedding?
For couples with none or only a few guests: We recommend booking your underwater wedding 3-4 months before your desired wedding date.
For larger groups (15+ Guests): We recommend booking your underwater wedding 6-12 months in advance to give guests time to arrange travel and accommodations.
What legal documentation is required for getting married in Mauritius?
For a wedding to be legally recognized, couples must provide certain documents, such as passports, birth certificates, and if applicable, divorce decrees. Our team will guide you through the required paperwork to ensure all legal requirements are met for your wedding day.

Do you provide assistance with visa applications for us and our guests?
Whilst we are wedding planners and we do work with clients all over the world, VISA details and entry requirements to Mauritius are not our expertise.

How do we plan our wedding from abroad?
Our experienced wedding planners are equipped to handle overseas clients. We use email, phone calls, and video chats to discuss and finalise all details. We ensure that planning your wedding from abroad is as stress-free and seamless as possible.
What is the cancellation policy for a beach wedding in Mauritius?
Our cancellation policy is designed to be as accommodating as possible. You can cancel up to six months before your wedding date with a minimal cancellation fee. For cancellations closer to the date, the fee will vary depending on the services already arranged.
Will the official civil status officer dive down with us and officiate the ceremony?
If you have opted for a civil wedding, the legal ceremony will take place on the boat just before you dive down to the ocean floor. Underwater, your diving instructor will lead the symbolic ceremony, during which you will go through various sequences, such as exchanging rings, exchanging vows, drinking champagne, having your first dance, and more. These sequences will be rehearsed with you during your diving lesson before the wedding day.
